Happy New… uh, yeah..

Yup, looks like I forgot to wish you a Happy New Year. And now it’s february. Also, it’s one week until my 25th birthday (it’s on the 17th, in case you’re wondering). So much for gifts (which won’t get here in time unless you’re in Norway right now) and good wishes. Ah, well.

So let’s recap, shall we?

  1. Merry X-mas/Kwanzaa/Hanukkah or whatever you’ve been celebrating
    • No matter what you were celebrating, I hope you had a nice time doing it. Personally, I was celebrating the spirit of Yule and generosity with good food and plenty of presents, as well as enjoying some time with my family.
  2. Big condolences to all who lost someone in the big Tsunami on December 26th
    • It sucked, we lost a lot of human lives down there, people have been blaming government officials for not doing their job properly, but there’s not a goddamn thing we can do about it now.
So please, let it rest. Nobody could’ve predicted exactly how wide-spread and chaotic this would be, and now we know how to prepare. Nobody could prepare for how serious the events of September 11, 2001 would become, either.
  3. In spite of it all, Happy New Year
    • For what’s another year with a happy new one? And with the Chinese New Year’s celebration coming along today (I just discovered this, by the way), there’s even more people to include in that New Year’s wish (about a billion or so).

Yup, that’s about it. In other news, my DVD collection has risen to new heights, being a total of 274 movies. I expect it to rise past 300 over the next few months. Silly thing to blow my money on, but so be it.

Some of you may also have noticed I’ve taken some time off from DJ’ing on Error FM lately. Basically, I thought some aspects of my show sucked, so I need some time to think it properly through. And while I’m at it, I’m developing a new version of my request system, although I’ll keep updating the MP3 list from time to time until it’s all ready to rock ‘n roll. I hope you don’t mind. I expect to use the same design as the old system, but with updated code so that it looks good no matter which browser you’re using. Kinda like what I’ve done with this website.

Further, I’ve gotten more time to work at IntraHouse, but I’m still keeping up appearances for my own business, Betadome Digital Media. I’m expecting to make some expansions on that end.

And as I’m gonna do quite often, here’s finishing off with another unlicensed cartoon:
